Airsoft Guns for Firearms Training

In a world where Firearms are widely used for defense as well as enjoyment purposes Airsoft guns can play a key role in helping Law Enforcement officers and Military as well as civilians who wish to train and prepare for various types of engagement situations to target shooting as well.  One of the biggest areas where Airsoft comes into play  of course is safety and security of all those involved.

Airsoft Info:

Airsoft guns are replica firearms that project round plastic pellets called BBs of different weights (.12grams  – .40grams) by one of 3 methods. Spring, Electric (battery) power, or gas powered.  These three methods will be discussed in more detail in future blogs.

Training/Safety

Weather a person uses a Firearms for defense or for enjoyment purposes Airsoft guns will help develop the highest level of skill into “muscle memory” or second nature if you will. This is done to prepare ones self to prerform to there highest ability under an intense stressful situation where panic and adreneline distort judgemnt and reason. These skills are needed most by our men and women in uniform of Law Enforcement as well as Military. As stated previously civilians who choose to carry firearms for personal protection can also use Airsoft guns to train and develop this “muscle memory” in anticipation of having to use there fire arm to protect themselves and loved ones in case the need should ever arise as well as target shooting as well.

In the next Airsoft Armada blog we will delve deeper into the mechanics of Airsoft guns.  Please visit out website at http://www.airsoftarmada.com

Why Airsoft Guns?

Why buy an Airsoft Gun?

Some people may ask why buy an Airsoft gun when you can buy a firearm? There are many reasons to answer this question and the first being safety and security above all. The simple fact that these are non-lethal weapons is a big reason to practice with Airsoft pistols as opposed to using your firearm.  Airsoft guns should be used in conjunction with your firearm as a training tool.

Weather practicing aiming and trigger pull,  holstering of the weapon these full scale replicas are invaluable in firearms training which is why a lot of Military and Police departments across the country are training with Airsoft guns.

Speaking of value, Airsoft is extremely more affordable and cost effective when compared to shooting live rounds. Below is a graph which shows the overall cost of purchasing a pistol, ammo, and also takes into account the added cost of training course for a firearms permit, fee to apply for a firearms license, and cost of membership at a local range.

$1248 Dollars its clear to see that savings advantage on ammo alone!
